What Is Your New Year’s Resolution for 2010?
Many people at this time of the year make New Years Resolutions that last just a few weeks, for example eating healthy, drinking less, exercise more or give up something like smoking. How about this year, give a little of your time to help others whilst having fun, learning new skills and meeting new friends and most importantly a New Years Resolution to be proud of?

Originally formed in 1964 by volunteers with the mission of improving the patients stay in the hospital’s of Mid Essex. Our goal today of meeting with patients, playing requests and bringing a smile to the hospital community remains unchanged from our founding members.
We are now based at the centre of medical care in Essex in a purpose built studio complex in Broomfield hospital, although this was not our first home. In our colourful history, we’ve been based in a common room in Chelmsford & Essex Hospital, in a caravan sited at St Johns Hospital and latter in the Grade II Listed Building, The Gate Lodge.
If you have ever considered voluntary work or are looking for a career in media, Hospital Radio Chelmsford can offer a wide variety of opportunities and give the chance to learn some new and exciting skills.
