Before the show goes on-air our Request Team will visit a selection of wards and collect requests from our listeners. Unfortunately we can not visit each ward every night as the hospital is far to big for that, so we go to the wards on a rota basis, which means we see around 100 people each evening and each ward usually gets visited 2 or 3 times a week. Look out for our team on your ward soon. They're easy to recognise, as they will be carrying pens, request slips and our magazines.

Most evenings we get around 15-20 requests, which are played during the 90-minute programme. Don’t worry if we have more than that, as the show will continue until all of your tunes have been played. In the remote chance there is time left we will pick extra songs from our top 50 most requested artists. These are the songs, which our listeners have chosen the most in the last 12 months.

Different presenters present the programme each night and they will add their own style and special touches to proceedings.
