Hospital Radio has 3 main functions:

  • Bring a SMILE to patient's faces in what can be difficult circumstances.
  • Provide an entertaining and personal radio service for patients.
  • Give people the opportunity to expand their personal media skills.

    All of the above are important, but one stands out more than any other: bringing a SMILE to your face.

    After over 40 years of experience - the best way we've found of acheiving this aim is to pop down onto the wards for a quick chat.

    We visit the hospital wards every day of the year (yes even Christmas Day!) and we guarantee to visit each ward at least twice a week.

    If you see one of our team, pull them over for the chat, we’re more than happy to spend time talking about anything you like, it doesn’t have to be about music or radio either. Try our knowledge on News, Sport, Weather, tomorrow’s menu or even at a push gardening!

    This will also be one of your chances to tell us some of your requests that you would like to hear.
